Artist Statement:
Motion &
Rest have been concerns of mine since I began painting. I did not understand,
as a younger painter, that those concerns would form the subject and direction
of my present work. This exhibit shows some aspects of the observer passing
the subject, subject passing the observer, slow, fast, and motionless
or at rest.
